someone said we should be "thankful" for this anno

they have made it clear that he's doing this for a specific period of time. Likely because he has other things, is at a stage in his life where he doesn't want to commit to a long-term CEO gig, etc - but felt like he wanted to make a difference with a drug that he believes in, and the ability to help those patients who could benefit. Pretty awesome stuff.
so why do they mention "a few months" in connection with his role? I see it very simply. He is here to get the hold lifted (finally), and to also help select the long-term CEO. Those are the 2 big things that would need to happen in a 3 month window, as i see it. I'm hoping that both of those happen in a much shorter window - but can see why they allow for a bigger window to be conservative. Partnerships, new trials, etc. - would follow naturally with the hold being lifted - and i imagine Jay would make the hand off at that point.
So, i am very thankful indeed - that we finally have an absolute stud at the helm to oversee these 2 big transformational events with the company - and once those events take place, i do believe we'll finally be off to the races.
hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.
