For me, my focus is on this next CEO. Given that we don't have the resources to go it alone (we never did), my ideal candidate would be an insider who can mend the relationship with regulators and cozy up to BP - clean us up, and strike a deal!
My pick would be a 60 year old, with many years in BP, and deep relationships with the FDA - a guy (or woman) who has the rolodex, commands respect and can restore credibility. Cyrus is smart and impressive - but he was just way out of his depth trying to restore the reputation of this company with the FDA, after what NP put us through.
I say give this new guy 10MM shares and 10MM warrants. That way, if he can wheel and deal and get this thing to $5, $10 or more - he's made a fortune, and taken us along for the ride.
