From the other emails it sounds like Murray is fixated on antivirals, he asks Dr Lalezari why he's working with leronlimab instead of participating in a remdesivir trial.
He does also mention "directed therapies" beyond antivirals, and all of this seems like it may mean he was blind to the idea of a more systemic approach of addressing the immune system.
