It looks to me like Akelos is a very small company, maybe just one guy full-time with a lot of advisors/consultants. Their former Director of Business Development also split his time with another company until he moved to an advisory role with Akelos in July when he went full-time at the other company.
My guess is that Cyrus has a connection with somebody at Akelos and was asked to help out now that the last business development guy has moved into a strictly advisory position.
