(Telehealth originating site facility fee) is 80% of the lesser of the actual charge ($28.64 for CY 2023
services). We base this on the percentage increase in the Medicare Economic Index (MEI) as defined in
section 1842(i)(3) of the Social Security Act. The 2023 MEI increase is 3.8%. The patient is responsible
