thanks for that insight. It actually dovetails with things i have heard - basically that Tanya is ultra conservative, and really doesn't know what she's doing. Her purpose was to protect the company in the wake of NP's disastrous reign - but when you go so far to the risk-averse side of the spectrum, you effectively choke off the kind of risk and communication that all companies must have. bigger picture though, she is simply a lawyer who ran a family office group - she has no experience or ability in running a business whatsoever. there's a reason we call the risk management, legal and compliance group at my company the "business prevention unit".
