Could you tell us a little bit about your simian background?

The first book that I read about evolution, over 50 years ago, was, " Three Billion Years of Life by Andre de Cayeux". I thought it was a right decent piece of work.
Cayeux's book got me excited about evolution to the point that I even began looking into by background and this is what I have discovered, thus far.
