I bought shares yesterday morning, not enough, wit

I bought shares yesterday morning, not enough, with the intention of selling yesterday but decided to hold overnight when it became evident that SOPA wasn't going to do that well. I would have been happy with a 5% gain. I lucked out big time when some good news dropped this morning and I managed to make almost 30%. It's rare that I hold a stock over 2 to 3 hours but, for whatever reason, the idea of holding SOPA overnight didn't bother me as I felt that enthusiasm for this stock was still growing.
