Northern Block surface rock samples reveal lithium oxide grade of over 2%

There is an immense unexplored land between the Northern Block and the Southern Block. So far less than 1% of GBML's property has been explored and drilled and 6 LCT has been discovered in PLA 1597, possibly more LCT will be discovered in next year's targeted drilling in the Northern Block as surface rock samples there bear the same lithium oxide grades as those in the Southern Block. A spodumene pegmatite is equivalent to a gold vein but it does not has spectacular high grade lithium grade as gold does. Since lithium is chemically very active, elemental lithium does not exists as gold does, rather, it formed numerous lithium minerals, lithium salts and lithium compounds in pegmatites with lithium oxide grade ranging from < 1% to 6%. Thus share price does not depend on lithium oxide grade but on the number of spodumene pegmatite discovered as only high tonnage is commercially economical. Patriot Battery Metals has discovered 70 LCT pegmatites / spodumene pegmatites with lithium oxide grade in the first four holes at only around 1%, yet that is enough to send share price to over $1. Be reminded that GBML's project area is 525 square kilometers, 2.5 times as big as Patriot Battery Metals's project in James Bay, so the potential of more LCT pegmatite / spodumene pegmatite discovery is high.
Spodumene pegmatite is a pyroxene mineral consisting of lithium aluminium inosilicate (Chemical formula LiAl(SiO3)2 or LIAlSi2O6), it is a source of lithium.
Lithium–caesium–tantalum (LCT) pegmatite contains more then just lithium, it is enriched in Li, Cs, Ta, Be, B, F, P, Mn, Ga, Rb, Nb, Sn and Hf.

Michael Murphy's excitement in drilling Hole No. 8 could imply he is euphoric in the second batch of the 10-hole program, he also anticipates good drilling results and discoveries in Blackstairs Lithium's 40-hole drilling in its Avalonia project. The discovery of more LCT / spodumene pegmatites by Blackstairs will make the name Leinster more ubiquitous in European Union and will further convince the EU Parliament that Ireland is another lithium district in Europe.

Blackstairs Lithium Ltd (BLL) is a private mineral exploration company registered in Ireland for the sole purpose of exploring for lithium in East Carlow and South Wicklow, in what is called the Avalonia Project. The company was started in March 2017 as a joint venture between Gangfeng Lithium Co. Ltd, a leading China-based lithium product manufacturer, and International Lithium Corp. based in Vancouver, Canada. CMGEU was launched in 2021 to manage projects in the European market, with the Avalonia project in Southeast Ireland as part of its portfolio. CMGEU provides exploration services and a team of exploration geologists to work on the Avalonia licenses on behalf of BLL.
The Avalonia project includes eleven contiguous prospecting licenses (PLs) covering a total area of 297.16 Km in southeast County Carlow and southwest County Wicklow held by BLL for the purpose of lithium exploration. The licenses stretch from around Tinahely in county Wicklow as the Northern extent to Boris and Ballymurphy in county Carlow as the Southern extent.
Eight of these licences were first issued to TNR Gold group in August 2009, with the three remaining licences acquired at a later date. TNR then consolidated its lithium and rare element assets in the subsidiary company International Lithium Corp (ILC). Blackstairs Lithium limited (BLL) was set up as a joint venture company by ILC and Ganfeng Lithium Corp (ILC) and the prospecting licenses were then transferred to the new Irish registered company. The role of project operator was transferred from ILC to BLL in 2017 with exploration services and fieldwork have being provided by Coast Mountain Geological EU ltd. (CMGEU) and Aurum Exploration services (AES).
