You do realize that fictional movies are not real?
Trials are done because there are potential unknown consequences to introducing any drug to the human body and because it is unknown whether that drug will even work. AI can collate all the information out there and project an outcome but there is still a lot that is unknown to us about biological systems and the interactions that drugs may have. If we don't know it, then AI doesn't know it and can only conjecture possible outcomes. Would you trust releasing a drug to the public based on conjecture? Like I said, a recipe for disaster.
Maybe you should ask ChatGTP about AI replacing drug trials and see what garbage comes out.
