I actually never planned to take any write off.  Was just planning on sitting on the shares, but the ones Etrade held are gone, because Etrade took it upon themselves to sell them.  I have fought with them about it, but have not gotten a clear cut answer as to how it happened.  Not gonna buy them back and waste more of my money.  As far as the rest of what you said, I kind of agree. Rarely have we ever been able to have a real conversation about this stock.  It's either bash, bash, bash or OMG this is the best stock ever.  No-one wants to talk real.  No one wants to address issues that are real.  Kind of sucks.  That's why I don't post much any more.
