The change to class 3 shouldn't take that long, and one of the most important positive developments coming from that change will be the new ease of research for those that previously avoided it due to foolish risk and cost associated with it. The new classification will move clinical THC safety research into warp speed compared to what it has been, and the data produced by that research will enable lawmakers and the lobbyists working with them to force the FDA to establish the new safety standards for THC infused products. Those standards will be very similar to those used for the regulation of alcoholic beverages. Not going to happen overnight, but the change to class 3 will kick open the door that has prevented fast tracked research and development for decades now. We're talking government here, but I personally will lean toward optimistic and say that they could very likely make it happen in a 6-12 month window despite heading into an election year. We're not talking about overhauling anything here, just a quick and easy change (based on already established clinical evidence) that should have been done already. Once regulatory guidelines are in place, RMHB is ready to jump on it as easy as flipping on a switch.
