Yea, I read the message, too. Nothing earth-shattering. No surprise otherwise there'd be a press release, right?
Is this the 'safe' version of we are in the midst of negotiations but we can't say that exactly b/c that would violate the NDA? Or are they waiting on a return phone call to set a 'meet & greet' over coffee and donuts? Or what?
I've always preferred to cut right thru to the nitty-gritty and skip the small talk. We can 'connect' the dots til the cows come home but we are still missing the 'aether' of it all. What is infusive to all the dots? Every post, definitely including mine (!), is nothing more than, as George Carlin would say, brain droppings.
I have said this before and I believe it bears repeating. Would an established, retired, 80-something, Professor Emeritus at one of best-connected universities in the country, Dr. Richard Staelin, risk prison time to prop up and carry the water for a failing enterprise whose prospects are sketchy, at best? He's the Chairman of the Board, for crying out loud!!! He has access to EVERYTHING!!
I still believe BIEL is involved in a very large, extensive package deal. Also, CEO Kelly's visit to the WRMC was not an initial, tentative step to ... you know, kinda sorta, ... maybe give a slide show, hand over a few samples, and catch a movie afterwards. We are finished w/ the small talk. Time to get real. I.M.O.
BIEL will sit on the backbench ... until it doesn't.
