Leading Swiss-hosted private and secure communications platform operating company Sekur Private Data Ltd. (OTCQX: SWISF) (CSE: SKUR) was one of the companies that came into the news cycle on Wednesday. Before the opening of the markets today, investors took a closer look at some of the recent developments.
Over the past few trading sessions, the stock has been witnessing increased volume, as it has gained about 14.50% in the past 2 sessions.
Yesterday, the company announced that it had launched an updated avatar for its website, Sekur.com. The company noted that the updated website featured ‘Products’ pages for the company’s three main products: SekurVPN, SekurMail, and SekurMessenger. Additionally, the new website also features a complete minisite for each of the privacy and security communications offered by the company. It also provides detailed descriptions of all those solutions.
However, companies update their websites for material gains, and that seems to have happened. Sekur noted yesterday that the new website had led to higher website traffic and higher conversions as well. The company noted that it was working on the improvement of its website with the addition of new videos to describe the different solutions on offer.
The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Alain Ghiai, noted that everyone at the company was excited about the launch of the latest version of the website. He added that expanded explanations of different offerings would boost time spent on the site and also result in higher conversions.
On August 2, the company announced that it had inked a distribution agreement for its suite of privacy communications solutions with the Kingdom of Morocco. The agreement also includes Sekur Enterprise Solutions, its upcoming product.
Sekur signed a reseller agreement with the Moroccan IT services firm Digital Smart Solution Sarl pertaining to the deal. Digital Smart would concentrate on distributing Sekur products to the banking and telecom industries. There would be a particular focus on the distribution of SekurMessenger to enterprises.
