Wow, that is an excellent discussion! I was shocked by the finding that inflammation reduction didn't play a major part, in initial recovery. Also, I was shocked that they found it better to wait three to five days to administer the CCR5 antagonist.
I can't help but wonder, if a better CCR5 antagonist (than Maraviroc) would yield different results. Perhaps, the inflammation control would be so much better.
His later discussion, about how the CCR5 antagonist would have a more concentrated affect around the injury, seemed to shoot holes in his earlier discussion about CCR5 affect on memory link termination and his take on inflammation. Again, maybe a better molecule (Leronlimab)
would produce a more conclusive result.
