For What It's Worth No images -- but there is

No images -- but there is activity at the Santa Elena site even as a new poster casts stones and doubts on ownership of the property. I have wondered about that myself but assume the Baltazars were clearly the owners and Meuxs had a lease on the mining claims. I think it's clear that is long running litigation in Mexican Courts so no idea who's on first or how valid are the mining claims.
Aug 7th to Aug 10th, 2023 comparative views via the Sentinal II polar orbiting satellite show several areas of "disturbed or fresh earth" - dozer work I assume. Does not have the appearance of drill pads, just surface excavation. Nothing has changed on leach pads and ponds - still dry and dry. South of the "Wishbone:" where prior blasting occurred in two phase there is sign of excavation not blasting. Also in the former placer area to south of the ball mill location and also at the base of "Mexus Mountain" on the northeast face near the Julio vein but to the east of the vein more and recent excavation.
No conclusion as to who's doing the work or toward what end but it's recent and in my view definite - not just lighting changes, sun angle or satellite look angle as i sometimes qualify the things I see. Go to EOS.comm, set up your own account and learn the ropes and menus to view first hand.
If Mexus Gold were back on the site I'd assume they'd be glad to announce it so I draw no conclusion that it's Mexus reengaged at Santa Elena. Just reporting on seeing new dozer or excavator work between Aug 7th and 12th, 2023.
If you are on Facebook you can see some coverage of Hilary's passage over Baja and Sonora. The news outlet Ariete Caborca reports on a daytime Sunday sand storm on the Sonoyta to San Luis highway due high winds. Their major theme day after day is the violent crime of Sonora state and the Carboca area in particular.
