BIEL - It's what's for dinner. And dessert, too.

The post from 'The_Pro' (o.b., # 319,754) just about sums up what happened, imo. We, BIEL, got served up. Dr. Sparling knew all about us before we set foot in her office. BIEL and the military have been 'seeing each other' for the better part of 5 yrs. Wouldiya say we get hitched?
Dr. Sparling did undergrad at Duke Univ. Dr. Richard Staelin is Professor Emeritus of Business Admin. at Duke Univ. Never hurts to have a connection, however tenuous. Duke Univ. is very well 'plugged in' to the system. Getting RecoveryRx into her department will be a huge feather in Dr. Sparling's cap and put her unique stamp on the department for all to see. She will make a lot of patients very happy. That's irresistible to a young, 'up and coming', ambitious (head of dept, early 30's at WRMC ?) professional. With no military or management experience, she's a climber, for sure. Don't think for a moment she isn't working all the angles. The good doctor has everything to gain.

CHANCES GO WAY UP IF ALREADY USED AT ANOTHER VA HOSPITAL. VA hospitals are administered differently, than Military Hospitals, as a side note. A Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) helps establish the selling price for medical and pharmaceutical products and gives the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) the authority to distribute the DAPA-holder's products to the military.
BIEL will sit on the backbench ... until it doesn't.
