This is not the place to settle the AI debate but you need to remind yourself also that intelligence is not the same as creativity and insight, the birth of novel/new connections. That I believe is uniquely human. AI is simply feasting on data and making existing known connections faster on the strength of computing power. When Niels Bohr concluded the atom was mostly empty space from the gold foil experiment, or the insight Dr. Harish Seethramraju arrived at leveraging Leronlimab for critically I’ll covid19 patients requires creative connection, an informed hunch, applying something new from existing information. AI will have its place but I am not sure it would have guided Neanderthal to the making of of stone tools…that required creative imagination when looking at a rock.

I would rather collaborate with an OHM than AI when it comes to bridging deep learning with creative insight.
