That's the way I understood it also. I heard no reference to a NASH partner that they couldn't name already being in place. They said they need the hold lifted in order to pursue a NASH partner. Being wrong is my specialty, so hopefully I'm wrong in what I thought I heard and didn't hear.
However they did say that they felt the communication with shareholders pendulum had swung too far in the 'no meaningful communication whatsoever' direction, so maybe they'll PR whatever the AI partnership is about. AI has obviously been a hot sector in the markets recently. A well-timed PR (8am-8:30am ET) about this "AI partnership" might give us a short-term bump into the $0.30s.
