The vast majority of hemp growers in the U.S. don't want hemp-derived delta-8 THC to be legal because it "muddies up the water" for them. They know that it would have to be regulated the same as all other forms of psycho-active THC and it would impose unwanted restrictions on the hemp industry. At first it was embraced by many fans of marijuana due to foolish laws prohibiting possession and use of delta-9 THC (marijuana), but states are quickly moving to recreationally legal marijuana now. As a result, there should be much less demand for delta-8 moving forward.
I agree with you 100% Lou. What's best for the hemp industry (and the health of cannabis users, of course) is what's important. The federal government should legalize marijuana soon anyhow!
