Do your own d/d and don't be misled to believe what you see posted on the other board!!! I posted today..."Lets lay out what is specifically currently being tested and we see it is not the specific batches of gauze that were found to be satisfactory but the packaging....."UHP is conducting FDA required testing on its packaged products in collaboration with the company’s U.S. based, FDA certified packaging partner. The test protocol is designed to ensure that products shipped to customers are sterile and are not damaged nor contaminated during transport from the packaging facility. The protocol involves a sequential process by three external vendors including sterilization, agitation and liquid immersion followed by physical inspection and bio contamination testing." On June 7 UHP reported that..."As disclosed in a press release on March 29, 2023, UHP has produced additional batches of its HemoStyp hemostatic gauze to demonstrate consistency and uniformity of its manufacturing process as required for Class III medical devices. Testing of these additional batches has produced satisfactory results which have been incorporated into the company’s PMA application file."
Some readers could be misled to believe the gauze is under testing again.
