I posted that a few years ago. I get 'one' might not recognize the significance of 'understanding the market'. To each their own. That's why iHub was invented.
As an example, before I bought into NVIDIA, now the second time (who knew AI was hot?), I did extensive DD on the landscape. In my view, it would be FOOLish to buy any stock without doing DD. So keeping an eye on the Live Shopping industry seems smart in my book. Sure beats the selective watercooler bitch fest. Imagine if that crowd actually invested in 2, 3, 4, 10 tech stocks? Most took a dive the last year or 2 but how would they know. VERB's fault the NASDAQ tanked. Which watercooler to run to?
Anywho, I was curious to watch each of these private startup Live Shopping companies and how much they are raising, spending, etc. You can tell how much they are spending by bookending the months between each raise. Clever, eh?
Just about all of them haven't raised capital since the equity markets dried up a year or two ago. Actually VERB is one of the few that did.
So what does that mean?
talkshoplive is who I thought they were. They are who we thought they were. You want to crown their ass, go ahead.
They are cash flow positive or profitable. I've stated this before it wouldn't take much in the Live Shopping to be. So let's assume VERB is or will be. Next bridge to cross is how to accelerate. As I recently said, a challenge all companies face.
Hey just take KorTime the guy that was on Sharktank and on Market.Live. I bought the product, I think it's great, but how does he sell more? If only he could spend $1M on marketing that he doesn't have.
Big brands and software companies are reluctant to do deals with companies that aren't cash flow positive. Guess who will be?
As investors, we just want to put pressure on VERB to do sure fire deals for growth than the "I think they can" of the past like many companies do.
Remember this one? There were sOOO many MS bedwetters out and about. VERB is not unique on wet sheet investors.

SPOILER ALERT
If you are going to watch Extraction 2, don't watch this, but it's a good simile of being a microcap on the NASDAQ
Really go watch Extraction 2 on netflix first. You won't be disappointed.
