in thinking through this, i think there's a good chance that:

1. Cyrus will come back. what's been going on - no clue. i really hope this is the case, as I think he is very sharp - at least the most impressive leader we've had (admittedly, a low bar.....)

2. we haven't yet submitted our response to the FDA - but we'll get clarity on when that is - and specifics on what the submission entails. maybe we're close

3. we have probably had to raise some $, hopefully not a lot. i don't know this, but based on everyone's expectation that the hold would have been lifted by now, it only seems reasonable.

i had originally said the hold would be lifted late Aug / early Sept, and that was before Cyrus' leave. i'm hoping that timing still holds though - which means we'd have to submit soon, and they don't jerk us around again. i continue to believe that once the hold is lifted, things move upward and forward quickly.
