What market has is unique. Rory Keys in on it frequently. It’s entertainment. I’m an investor but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching some of the cooking shows and learning. And usually I buy something. The entertainment value is a very unique shopping experience. But it cannot be the only draw. Influencers have to get their millions of people watching them. We have had some pretty good influencers, but when they advertise on their platforms about market, for some reason, the views are minimal. How can we convert/translate? The potential is a big question. I was just watching one of the cooking shows and they had a KitchenAid mixer for $100 less than usual. I snatched it up for my daughter who loves the kitchen. They probably got the deal because it was black. Not some of the other popular colors. But for that huge of a savings, it needs to be advertised as such and people will grab it. Everyone loves a deal.
Some of these other goofy shopping platforms advertise the shit out of themselves on TV. Somehow they’re surviving and valued in the billions.
Perhaps it’s time to create two channels. The garage sale, poor quality, home, livestream, and the professional quality entertainment shows?? Revenue is revenue. If it’s so big in Asia, maybe market needs to go to Asia? Go to universities in their marketing departments and offer low pay internships, or even free channels for entrepreneurialship classes?? shouldn’t there of been one naked guy with market.live painted on his back at one of the gay parades during this last month somewhere?!
I know we are in the potential purchase of a company that currently has a base of 70000 customers… are we sure they were going to like live stream? I just hope we’re not putting all of her eggs in one basket. There is so much potential here. So much. The longer a company drags its feet into success the lower the success will be. We need to go in guns a blazing!!!
