Spence, Jonny and Lonnie went on an adventure today. They found a dead walrus that still had it’s head and tusks. They worked on it with an axe but were unable to revive the walrus. They removed the head and will boil it to clean up. The tusks are ivory and must be tagged before they can be sent home. It is legal to find and keep if the walrus is dead. This one will be Jonny’s. He has worked hard up here helping Spencer but also had a great adventure. They also did some beach mining and found some gold.
