We're in a rebuilding phase like every year of the Detroit Lions existence since the NFL adopted the Super Bowl.
The important people were moved on for good reason. We have better people in place now to de-hassan the organization, which is an important step in cleaning up the company's practices and relationships up and down the chain. They've traded in the family Truckster for a more reasonable and dependable Chrysler Pacifica. Gone are the garbage bags full of clothes (did I hear a niner in there?) replaced with sensible Samsonite rollers bags and dependable Pelican cases for safe and easy transfer. Cyrus has gone straight to the source for directions to our destination rather than relying on Bing or Mapquest or holding a wet finger up to the wind.
Amarex claimed they were putting premium gas in the Truckster and getting annual inspections as contracted to do so, but instead were cutting 87 octane with Pert Plus and using the local college's fake ID guru to print out bullshit inspection reports.
In the end it had to be a frame off restoration of the whole damn shooting match. It's just about complete now, but that shit takes time.
