We have no idea what deal Amarex has with their attorney, but for all we know, they are using in-house attorneys and it isn't costing them anything extra. We just don't know.
I would have to look at the agreement again, but often the prevailing party can be awarded reasonable outside attorneys fees and costs associated with the arbitration.
There is no "payment scheme" as that sounds nefarious and that is not what this is. This is an arbitration, pure and simple. The arbitrator will tell their decision when they are ready, after hearing BOTH sides of the situation.
To the best of my knowledge we have ZERO idea where things stand with this arbitration in terms of whether or not it is now sitting with the arbitrator. It'd certainly be nice to know.
