Knightscope (NASDAQ: KSCP), a leading developer of autonomous security robots (“ASRs”) and blue light emergency communication systems, has added a one-hundred-year-old candy company to its client list. Knightscope signed a contract with the company for two new K1 Solar Powered Blue Light Towers. One of the largest confectioners in the country, the new client is a multigenerational, family-owned organization that owns several well-known candy brands. “Knightscope is proud to have been selected to protect such an iconic figure in American history,” the company stated in the announcement.
The K1 Blue Light Tower emergency phones are recognized for delivering completely wireless emergency phone operation around the clock, every day of the year, regardless of weather conditions or other obstacles. The phone systems feature high-quality voice connectivity, broadcast warning capability, a flashing strobe and night-area illumination designed to assist responders in locating callers to render assistance.
Knightscope also noted that its Robot Roadshow is slated to make a stop in Texas later this month. The roadshow will be at the Outlet Shoppes at El Paso on June 20–21, 2023. This scheduled visit will be the latest of more than 80 landings in 26 states and Washington, D.C., that the roadshow has made since its launch last year. The Robot Roadshow is designed to be an invaluable in-person experience that provides demonstrations by Knightscope experts and hands-on opportunities to interact directly with Knightscope’s ASRs, test a blue light emergency phone, and see the Knightscope Security Operations Center user interface in action.
