DW...I recall back around 2002 a company either used DT name involved in a construction of a high rise buildings with or without his permission I sincerely don't know but one of my friends invested $600k in pre-construction contract. I do not know if Trumps name was written within the contract indicating his involvement or not but the bottom line is that he wasn't involved. Don't even recall if the building was built but do know whoever used Trumps name with or without permission. I do know my friend lost all that money so believe the construction failed. Now why I am not sure what is so and not is simply because all this was hush hush back then and possibly non disclosures so I didn't pry or comment I just listened to my friend talk about watching that money fly out of his hand. My point is that I know Trumps name is used but I don't know if Trump is receiving money for allowing name usage which may help push a contractor and contracts ahead depending on the money sources needed to lift and start some of these projects. Bottom line is be careful of your wallet and know who is really involved in these projects
