How about the republicans quit using political blackmail? When they are elected again as president they can present a budget by themselves. Until then… they don’t get to say how the money is spent. They only get to vote on a total spent. Then you have a budget suggested that will pay down the national debt 3 trillion dollars and you wonder why they can’t back up a budget that pays down the national debt?
Seems odd doesn’t it? Oh… the republicans are mad that the rich are being taxed and they were sworn to keep the rich as tax free as possible when they were bought out by the wealthy and corporations. Do you not know how our Republican Party works? They scare you into voting with them on gun, abortion and other deep issues just so you will give the rich tax breaks and let them go tax free. That’s what they are paid to do and they hope the lack of tax issue goes by unnoticed. So that all Americans can pay their fair share of taxes but not the rich. You don’t even get to see how they fool you into voting for them… all you see is the pain of things you need for policies and screw it if the republicans actually follow through. They said they wanted to and that’s good enough for you right? They had their heart in the right place but just keep breaking those damn promises.
