Euro Sun Mining is undervalued based on a low range of values paid for developed deposits in recent years. The lower end of the prices paid per ounce for in situ deposits in recent years is $24,145/gold equivalent of ounces.
Euro Sun Mining has a project in Romania called Rovina Valley that has an estimated resource of 10.1 million ounces of gold and 1.4 billion pounds of copper1. Using the lower end of the average price per ounce, Euro Sun Mining's deposit would be worth approximately US$244 million.
However, the company's current market cap is only about US$40 million, which means that it trades at a large discount compared to its potential value.
