Actually, the Federal Gov has received all the royalties from the Bass Straight.
Victorian Gov has received all the benefits of supporting these Offshore Rigs via infrastructure, personnel, etc, etc.
EEGC's deal with the Tasmanian Gov is around 10% royalties., Right??
Considering they receive nothing from offshore they would be crossing their fingers that their is some form of oil'n'gas onshore.
And what was that about the oil not being in Tasmanian waters??

One thing I do agree with is that Tasmania has received zilch from any of this. So far. When they start on the new provinces, Tasmania may not receive royalties but they will be instrumental in supporting all the Infrastructure which will be worth hundreds of millions of dollars a year.
