BeBevCo's KOMA Unwind Ready To Get Wicked On The Track With Team Slick-Wicked
STATESVILLE, N.C., March 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Bebida Beverage Company (OTC markets: BBDA) (BeBevCo) is continuing their impressive, yet aggressive marketing campaign by announcing today that their KOMA Unwind® (@KOMAUnwindNews) brand has paired with Team Slick-Wicked to compete in the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Summit Series for the 2013 season.
Developed by BeBevCo., KOMA Unwind relaxes those who drink it. It also helps them improve both the duration and quality of their sleep with flair and favor. KOMA Unwind is formulated to relax the body, mind and soul. It is the perfect lifestyle beverage for those who can appreciate extreme relaxation.
The relaxation or "anti-energy" drink category is a new category to the beverage industry. This type of drink is dedicated to helping consumers achieve a level of relaxation without the use of pills or alcohol.
The all-female South Carolina-based team will begin their campaign on Friday, March 29 from Atlanta (Ga.) Dragway where Angie Young (900 HP Dragster / Kawasaki ZX-14), Reah Smith (Suzuki GSXR100), Donna Carmen-Blackwell (Suzuki GSXR100 / 1971 Chevrolet drag truck) and Trisha Wilbanks (1971 Chevrolet drag truck) will look to fully unwind themselves on the drag strip as they hunt for victory.
Team Slick-Wicked will also have on-site product availability throughout the season allowing race fans to experience the "relaxation revolution" for themselves.
"This partnership is very exciting for us," said BeBevCo. CEO Brian Weber. "The girls on the Slick-Wicked team are second-to-none. They are incredibly professional, but have a great sense and desire for burning rubber, roaring engines and speed. We're happy to join them on the NHRA tour this year and we're hoping to make some noise of our own along the way."
"Whether it's a tough day at the office or the track, it's very comforting to know that I can chill with a KOMA Unwind," sounded Slick-Wicked founder Angie Young. "It's refreshing to know that there is a popular drink out there that does the exact opposite of an energy-drink. It allows me and everyone else the opportunity to rest easy and get refreshed for the upcoming day. There's no doubt it's going to be a valuable tool to Slick-Wicked and others on the NHRA platform."
Reah Smith, director of communications and marketing for Slick-Wicked also offered her insight on having the opportunity to represent KOMA Unwind this year.
"We've been patiently waiting to make this announcement through our social media sector, because we've been so overwhelmed of partnering with a great product like KOMA Unwind," she said. "We hope this is the beginning of a lasting partnership, and we are confident about the upcoming success for both the team and KOMA Unwind!"
