I have spent my entire adult life, from Nixon to Biden, watching Retrumplican administration, after Retrumplican administration, after Retrumplican administration, absolutely and repeatedly destroy the American economy and the American Middle Class.
I have also watched Democratic administration, after Democratic administration, after Democratic administration, work their asses off to fix the complete shitshow that's been left to them.
In every single case I have watched the press pivot, usually within a month of taking office, to how the "Democrats haven't done enough" to fix the wreckage previous Retrumplican administrations have wrought.
Just today, MSNBC had someone from CNBC on to actually claim; "well, we need to raise the debt limit, but we also need to negotiate a budget by September, so it almost makes sense to combine them both.
What utter horseshit!
That's like me saying; "I need to negotiate with my neighbor about trimming his hedge that is on my property, and also burn down his house, so it makes sense to combine them both"
In the past 40 years, Retrumplican Presidents have run up more national debt than every other President combined in the first 189 years of our country
