UNVC: Isn't it Ironic that Dalton posted on a week old
UNVC: Isn't it Ironic that Dalton posted on a week old discussion about how the PBM Companies are forcing the little Independent Pharmacy's out of business.
Wait he claims to own a PBM company racking in over 200 million in revenue a year. Only thing is Dalton's is a FAKE Company.
I have a lot more info on HRI I'll post this week.

I said “NO”when I was Vice President of Rite Aid in the early 70s to stop this degradation. Government intervention is now the answer.

This makes me so mad and angry and sad.
Katie Butt Beckort and her team are amazing.
We must save our independent pharmacies.
Pharmacy owners can win with the right help.
Here is a portion of the conservation

Most independent cash prices are better than good Rx. Also many independents have their own discount card. GdRx sells patient data I refuse to take it at any if my pharmacies. Indys can compete just fine on cash price. What they can’t do is afford to lose hundreds of dollars a day due to negative reimbursements by pbms. It is typical for a pharmacy to lose $1,000 a day due to under reimbursement and yet pbms are making trillions.

Very sad to watch the independents go. Plumb's in Bellefonte, PA, just closed this week after 72 years. The hometown drug store is a painful loss to many small-town communities.

PBMs are destroying pharmacies, one by one. Horrible reimbursement (the fact that you can actually lose money for filling an RX is absurd), DIR fees, service/transaction fees, in network and out of network service fees, network participation fees. All just ridiculous.

Yes it is the PBMs that are closing these stores. They make trillions of dollars while underpaying pharmacies.
