we've been waiting a year to hear that the hold is lifted. do you really think the company will wait (any time at all) to announce that it's been lifted? zero chance they sit on that news.
there are 3 scenarios as i see it:
1. The hold is lifted. We find out immediately - they will PR as soon as they can put the wording together, which will take 5 minutes. they then announce the call to discuss the great news with shareholders.
2. The hold is not yet lifted, but they think it's coming any day. In this scenario, you just hold off a few days to schedule a call - why not wait a few more days?
3. For some reason, the hold looks to not be lifted quickly - in which case, you want to go ahead and break the news that it will be a little while. Hopefully a little while is only a couple / few weeks.
trust me - if i'm wrong, i'll be the happiest wrong person you've ever known - but the more i think about it, the more i think we've got some more wood to chop on the clinical hold.
