Yes, the media will do anything to fool you, and republicans will now rally around their criminally indicted candidate. Trumps poll numbers will rise and hope springs eternal.
The media will present you with magic wands and “no mugshot for Donald” fantasies to feed your hope. Alas, it won’t matter. Trump will be indicted twice more with the serious charges coming next, long before any fake campaign he’ll be running.
Before that though, Trump will stand trial in NY for paying off a porn star from campaign funds. Trumpanzees will spin all of these charges into a win for Trump and it still won’t mean shit. Trump is going to prison, not the White House.
