Craig, I think you need to account for the item often negotiated with a partnership: exclusivity and profit cut from revenue stream with approval…what’s THAT worth? That’s why the big boys tend to show up with a big bag full of cash. If a platform drug is involved it complicates exclusivity for the partner but ups the salivation factor and by extension the size of the money bag. I view the partner on a platform drug opportunity as more of a potential marriage with property rights so I assume Cyrus is going about this very carefully and strategically…make sure there is a nice smile, no missing teeth…walks softly with a big money bag.
I think if a partnership gets announced at some point, who it is will be a massive tell about the future, and it will have a very large footprint on the purchasing book for a McKesson or AmerisourceBergen.
