Slow day on the msg board. I just hope everybody doesn't get too worked up re: upcoming p21 results as there is always the chance it is still too early (per Leo) that any major indications of p21 are shown. I am now backing off til summer, ASCO at earliest, for real barnburner news and will be pleasantly surprised should something great appear before then. Just making sure I don't expect too much too soon.
OT: Am in Chattanooga for the weekend as my wife and I are squiring Mom around. At 88, every trip is special. Thought today was going to be a dud until I found out that just 20 miles south just outside Dalton GA is one of the premiere Arabian Horse farms in the country (maybe the world) and they allow anyone to drop by and visit. Dalton is a great little town but the Paradise Arabian horse farm is out of this world. Drove right up to the main barn with lots of open pastures loaded w/ horses all around and strolled into the first barn to find 3 horses getting ready for a big show in Lexington KY by getting a mayonnaise massage. Mayonnaise is great to bring out the sheen in the coat but has to be washed off fairly quickly or the horse will get hives. One particular white horse was spectacular and found out is was Scampa, internationally recognized as the most beautiful Egyptian Arabian stallion. What a treat! Fed him carrots I brought so he warmed up quickly. Owners of the horses getting prepped couldn't talk enough about their steeds (or should I say pseudo-children). Loved talking to them. Expected to see very wild animals and was shocked to see how well behaved, quiet, and peaceful they all were. What a treat. If ever in the area, a rare treat.
Go to paradisearabians.com, hit the stallions button, and see the stallions at the farm. I saw and fed them all in the stallions barn. Right now on an equine high!
