game of Whack-a-mole, only w/ acronyms. So now either our distributors, or we ourselves, need to get an MSN (Medicare Supplier Number)? I put that into the search bar and the following link was first on the list. Click on it. Take a few minutes to appreciate the absolute mumbo-jumbo, do this-do that, link after link after link after link, endless & mindless gordian knot of complete bullshite called Medicare.

This is what BIEL (or our partners?) must navigate to get approved for supplying Medicare or CMMS or whatever. Or not? Who is required to do this? I don't know and don't have any inclination whatsoever to attempt to find out. I do pity those who must do this, though. Take a second; look at the page. Acronym after acronym. Deliberately confusing. No wonder we have to hire 'consultants'. Your tax dollars at work.
For what we offer to an opioid disaster that is completely out of control, our inclusion into the CMMS swamp should have been done by fiat; like yesterday. Again, for the umpteenth time, this system is not designed for our benefit, either you personally or for our investment in BIEL. It is designed to control the system in order to enrich ... T.H.E.M.selves; not to provide actual, cost-effective, relief from pain and/or addiction.
When we do eventually get the official 'nod', they (T.H.E.M.) will take all the credit. Do what you can w/ in the system to achieve what you want. The coordination boogles the mind. For every added task (e.g. - business expansion and/or another partnership?) that must be completed, correctly, it increases the overall complexity exponentially. It's mandatory to have a dance w/ the devil to overcome (and fulfill) certain requirements but don't forget to go home w/ the one who brung ya'. The next time you have the urge to criticize the progress of the company take the time to appreciate what they are going thru on a daily basis.
