Republicans use to be the party of military strength. Now the two leading Republican candidates are weak on supporting Ukraine. How embarrassing it is when they prefer dictatorships over democracy. If you don’t stop a dictator/ bully he will be in your back yard soon enough bullying you eventually. You can’t let a dictator grow his military to be more powerful than ours. This use to be a normal republican ideal. Now it’s tuck your tail between your legs and denounce the effort to protect the worlds governments that have a democracy. It would seem very weak stance.
It’s like someone saying we should get rid of the US constitution because (probably) I want to eventually be a dictator and rule America. Who said that? What a treasonous weasel would say such a thing about our founding fathers principles in our constitution? Something our country was founded on and lived by for hundreds of years. The treason weasel is Trump but it appears by this article below that DeSantis is on board with turning a bling eye to an expanding dictatorship from Putin.
I am proud of our stand with Ukraine and our reestablished bond with NATO. The world recognizes the problem with ignoring an expanding dictatorship. But the republicans don’t? The republican party will show weakness and lose votes for being the weaker party. Who would have thought Biden would be the strong president he has been… Kudos for Biden and it will help him get re-elected.
