For those who dare to enter the arena ... Why
Post# of 7805
Why is it we, as individuals not a group, do what we do? The recent passing of fellow poster, Steve43, (I-sHrub) got me thinking this. As soon as it was posted there appeared a 'thumbs down' for the post. What could possibly be the motivation? Jealousy? Childishness or immaturity? Pettiness? For me, this demonstrated a crass mentality only exhibited by the dim-witted garbage that masquerade as adults.
When I posted on I-sHrub (we all make mistakes!) I read what he had to say and more often than not I disagreed. I felt the sarcasm and bitterness of someone who had given a good faith effort towards promoting BIEL and fell short. If I understand correctly, he did in fact work with Founder Andy Whelan trying to get Actipatch established in the veterinary field. For whatever reason it didn't work out. Back then money was even tighter and Andy had his hands full just staying open.
The point is this. Steve43 had the courage to enter the arena. He fought the good fight. He knew what Andy knew (and we all know today) that PEMF is the future. The timing wasn't right. He experienced what all warriors go through. He labored long hours, got bloodied, frustrated, fell down and got up, and in the end, stood there, breathless and spent, realizing he had failed and came up short.
Each of us has our own reasons for hanging onto our shares thru the slings and arrows of outrageous aggression. I hope Steve43 held onto his shares and his heirs reap the benefit of our eventual success. Let's all remember a fellow message board combatant who is now in a better place and is dearly missed by friends and family. May we all send along our very best thoughts to his memory and appreciate all his efforts in regards to BIEL. His struggles on our behalf, not as productive as he would've liked in his mortal life, will make a difference. He will be remembered.
Rest easy, Steve43, you earned it.
