Republicans always try to gaslight folks by trying to blame all the failures of their own past administration(s) on the current or incoming one.
Remember the ReaganPhone thing they tried to pin on Obama as a free giveaway for people Repubs thought didn't deserve anything? It was program started by Reagan to provide a phone # for welfare recipients looking for work, expanded on by Bush, and updated by Obama to include tech not available at the time the law was written like cellphones.
