Samantha Moffett 55 yrs old knew she was dying of Covid-19...she was on a ventilator.
On April 2nd, her husband signed a waiver giving the approval for doctors to use an experimental HIV drug, ...Leronlimab aka as Pro140.
It was a move that her Drs. called a "Hail Mary."...when she woke up...she was breathing on her own...she sent selfies to those concerned for her.
April 21st, in an interview of Dr. Jacob Lalezari, well know for his decades-long work on conducting clinical trials on HIV drugs said,"Leronlimab IF used early would save the lives of most of the people who died of Covid-19 and reduce the need for ventilators. He went on further to say, "I don't know IF this is double, a triple,...or a homerun, but I know it is working", said Lalezari, who cited blood work showing that patients who took the drug had a lower level of so-called cytokine storm chaos.
"The Virus makes you sick, but it is the immune system that kills you," Lalezari said. "It is the paperwork in part that is killing people right now" Lalezari said...pointing to the fact that the FDA has Approved Leronlimab for (IND) but not for "Compassionate Use"...The former makes access to the drug much more onerous than the latter. Again,..petty bureauracy, kills as sure as a bullet to the heart..
