For those of us that saw the Fox extremism long ago always knew it was far off track. When I see a family member at a reunion of some kind it’s always interesting to here their political view and the first question I usually ask is where they get their news. Then when I hear Fox and of News Max or Oan I know how extreme they are. It’s a different level for what source they use the most. Fox being long term brainwashing that has turned them far right over a long 25 year period of time and they have hard views to even change one aspect but will listen to other views.
Then you have the News Max and OAN people and they use to listen to Fox for 20 plus year and it steered them to the far right but eventually it wasn’t enough and they needed more extremism and started watching News Max and OAN because it was more extremist and they loved the hate that is being taught and their opinions of extremism just got justified to them by a far right radical extremism in News Max and OAN. Now these people might still watch the pundits like Tucker Carlson because he is the News but is the poster boy for extremism as a opinion voice.
What’s sad to me is we have a Australian that came to this country almost 30 years ago and he started Fox News and changed politics forever and taught the right wing to hate the other party and did Themis teaching just for ratings but it has turned out much more than just ratings. My hope is that Dominion takes Fix down and the exposure shows the far right that they are being brainwashed to believe and extreme view. But reality is for most long term brainwashed people will now never change and that is sad even knowing they have been lies to for years and that Fox will be forced to tell the public they have openly lied to them and they don’t even believe on what they push as a narrative and it’s all been about TV ratings and it’s worked well on the ignorant that believed in Fox all along. Many people have no clue that they have been mislead until it’s to late. The long term Fox viewers will never admit they were led astray. Once brainwashed like they have been… there is no turning them around. It’s a very sad result for our country and the political parties that got along much better 30-40 years ago.
Just think about this… a Australian did this to our country… openly and just for ratings and money. The ignorant sucked it up like a fat kid in a candy store with an all you can eat for 10 minutes.
