Taxing stocks isn’t a terrible thing. It will not. Necessarily lower stock price. Many things determine stock prices. A minimal 1 % tax on stock buy backs isn’t a bad thing. The fact is we need to improve our infrastructure and it takes tax and revenue of the tax to improve our roads and bridges in this country. Being taxed for these items are a no brainer to me. We need to have the best infrastructure in order to compete on a world level of that is our new goal of being competitive in manufacturing. Good family wage jobs.
You have to see the big picture. Which you don’t dbergh. You keep saying taxes are bad but not all taxes are bad. We need to steer away from China and start making our own products once again. China has us over a barrel and unless we are smart in how we rebuild our country we will never catch up. So quit trying to say the lies of your taxing. You are not seeing the big picture and are using misinformation about taxing from right wing web sites that make believe that every little thing is a tax when it’s all a made up bullshit view you far right wing nuts only believe. Most good Americans don’t mind being taxed if it improves road or everyday efficiency . It’s about everyone paying their fair share.
If you don’t agree… sell your vehicles and walk everywhere. I will pay my taxes to have good roads and you can continue to only walk because I don’t want you on my roads unless you help pay the taxes that build or repair those roads.
