I think I just noticed an article, a week ago I guess, that said that SC was the third most popular destination for people fleeing the various librul utopias that are becoming unbearable.
We do indeed have a crime problem and I think that's because there are just too many things that are considered crimes in South Carolina. For example, the cops here will bust your ass and toss you in the can if you are caught shoplifting items that are worth less than $900. I bet people in California must think we are barbarians for doing such a thing.
I just don't think you'll find a street like this anywhere in the Palmetto State,

I was born and grew up in Sumter, SC and it has gotten to be pretty bad as of late, probably gang related crap for the most part.
In the mid 80's I played in a bridge tournament in Gatlinburg, Tenn. For one event, I had to ride a shuttle up a mountain to get to my event. As we rode to the top I was listening to a Yankee Guy and a Rebel Lass argue about where was it better to live, North or South. Well, she won the argument when she hit him with, "I you ever heard of anyone going to Yankee Land to retire?"
