The company should have waited, blah, blah, blah

I say 'the company' because for some reason, some think Rory makes all the decisions and/or in a vacuum. I guess those people never lead a company before or even came close to how management and the BOD and the BOA actually work.
Anyone stop to think why 'the company' didn't wait?
Could it be this offering has been in the works for a month or two?
Could it be that even if the share price ran up to $1, $2, $1B dollars, the people that are actually going to buy into the offering were only going to pay so much because they want a good deal too.
Sure waiting would have benefited traders, flippers or longs that average down some and wanted to lighten their load. Maybe even no-balls because god knows no one is dumb enough to waste that much time for free.
In my non emotional opinion, it wasn't going to benefit the company on this deal.
Sure you could say, hey if the stock prices is $1, $2, $1B dollars who the hell cares. Getting there, and staying there, are two different things. The share price will stay there on solid news so it can't be shorted back down again.
