White House Pushes GOP to Show Spending Cuts

AKA put up or STFU you phony assholes. For 4 f'ing years you voted to increase the debt limit while the orange moron was running up the debt, bigly.

NOW you want to play this game again like you did with Obama?

Easy, early, call. McCarthy won't find enough votes in the House to vote down a raise in the debt limit. Big GOP contributors, major companies, are already calling GOP House members and warning them not to do it or forget about contributions. The GOP House, the dumbest of f'ks representing the dumbest of f'ks.

Washington Post: “The Biden administration is focused on pressing the GOP to unveil a debt limit plan that includes spending cuts, with the hope that such a proposal will prove so divisive among Republicans that they are forced to abandon brinkmanship.

This strategy stems in part from the belief among White House officials that it would be enormously risky either to negotiate policy with the GOP on the debt limit or try to solve it via executive order — and they appear willing to put that premise to the test.”

Key point from Matthew Continetti: “Republicans enter the debt ceiling fight with no leader, no strategy, and no specific proposal.”
