Dalton does not want to be transparent.
And for good reason:
There is no business, there is no plan.
The most inept and incompetent CEO on the planet would be able to launch a startup within 20 years.
If things were in 'black and white' he could actually be held accountable - the less information he provides shareholders, the higher the probability he can continue the ruse.
Dalton uses his self-glorified past as his credentials. He joins many corporate boards and foundations, regularly appears at industry events and award ceremonies, deliberately partners and associates with some legitimate causes and known business figureheads - all to provide himself a level of authenticity.
